Spouse Programme 2: Penang Eco-Tourism Destinations

Attire: Casual (These are outdoor activities. The trails are slightly inclined. Do wear comfortable walking shoes - unfortunately wheelchairs & strollers are not recommended).

Tucked within the north western part of Penang Island, Teluk Bahang is a green protected area in the island that offers nature lovers an eco tourism experiences. The Tropical Spice Garden houses over 500 species of herb, spice and tropical plants. Explore and discover the fabulous diversity of nature as you through trails and pathways across jungles terraces and natural streams. After the guided tour, you will treated with local cuisine at the Tree Monkey Restaurant, located within lush jungle by the seaside. In the afternoon, be prepared to sample more than 15 varieties of tropical fruits and get to explore South East Asia’s largest collection of fruits garden that spans a sprawling 25 acres of land with more than 200 edible fruits species.

Tour Programme:

  • 9:00am - Meet and Greet at St Giles Wembely Hotel Lobby
  • 10:00am - Visit Tropical Spice Garden
  • 12:00pm - Lunch at Tree Monkey
  • 1:30pm - Visit Tropical Fruit Farm
  • 3:30pm - Depart back to Hotel
  • 4:30pm - Arrive at St Giles Wembely Hotel
